Our Mission

The Heros Humanitarian Foundation is a fledgling organization brought together by a common ideology and compassion rooted in the fundamental belief that each and every one of us can be a hero. We are a group of friends with a common interest in helping those who are less fortunate. The word heros, in Latin, is imbued with the sense of courage required to undertake the colossal issues we face within our communities such as poverty and homelessness. We are an organization brought together and bonded by our passion to help the youth within our community find their way to a brighter tomorrow.

Warm smiles on faces are our inspiration for starting this organization. Knowing these individuals will have food and shelter is our motivation for making these efforts. Knowing that the work we do will help enrich the lives of those who need our help is our lifeblood. Sprouting from the appreciation for the many comforts in our own lives, the founders of this organization have brought issues such as poverty, physical and mental health, and homelessness to the forefront, and we refuse to continue to avert our eyes from those who need our help.

Our mission is executed by addressing three core components:

Mind: We believe that having options in life means making positive life choices. This gives youth the ability to prosper despite adversity. We are strengthening the minds of young people with education through mentoring and tutoring programs benefiting the community.

Body: The body needs nourishment to grow and develop. By providing basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter, we are investing in the physical health of those who require help to attain a strong foundation.

Soul: A strong foundation leads to a sense of self-reliance, self-confidence, and comfort required for success. These are the building blocks for the youth of today to become the heroes of tomorrow.
